Oak Switchplate Covers

In my kitchen an old outlet fell apart. There is no cover over the outlet and the wires are just hanging there. They are live. I don’t want anyone to get shoked. How can I cap the wires so they are safe ?

Crown molding is underneath the outlet — standard size switchplate cover is too big? Is there somewhere I can get a special size one?
It is already turned to the side, but that lessens the width — making the standard size covers way too big.
